Main Menu

The Main Menu.

The Main Menu is the very first thing that players will see when they join a Welcome to Bloxburg server. The Main Menu displays the logo of the game on the top center, five buttons that players can interact with, and a faded overview of the city of Bloxburg. Players can access the Main Menu at any given time by interacting with the settings icon on the bottom right during gameplay.

Buttons

Play

This button will allow the player to load a plot into the game. If the player has the Premium gamepass, then it will show a menu allowing the playing to select their plot.

Store

Below the Neighborhoods button, this button allows players to purchase gamepasses or currency. The store can also be accessed on the store icon on the bottom right during gameplay.

Options Icon

Next to the Store button is the Options icon; these are settings that players can interact with. Players can change their GUI, interactions, permissions, Build Mode settings, sound, graphics, and more. Like the store, this can be accessed on the bottom left by tapping or clicking on the settings icon during gameplay.

Neighborhoods

Below the Play button, players can access neighborhoods that they have joined in the past, join their neighborhood, browse the public neighborhood selection, or create a neighborhood. Players can also access this menu by driving into one of the closed-off tunnels on the Highway, or at the lower right corner of their screen once a player is loaded into their plot.

Update Logs

In the bottom left corner of the screen, there is a button which opens an in-game update log. This feature was added to the menu in update 0.12.4. However, you cannot view updates before 0.12.4 on this menu.

Trivia

• Formerly, the background of the Main Menu used to feature cinematic shots of certain areas of the town. It now displays a still image overlooking the river, park, and town center from the top of the Mountain.

• On the bottom right, the age of the server is shown. In other words, this shows the amount of time the server has been up since it was first created by Roblox.

• When players first joined, there used be a prompt reminding the player that the game was still in Beta, and that there may be bugs. Players would have to click out of this prompt before they were able to view the menu.
  • This popup has since been removed since Welcome to Bloxburg became free to play on June 15th, 2024.
  • Formerly, there was also paragraph asking players to send suggestions/bug reports to Coeptus with his Twitter handle, which was removed.

• There is no way to avoid the Main Menu when first loading into the game.
• The buttons on the Main Menu can change color if the player goes into Options and changes the primary color of the game.
• During the Christmas Event, Halloween Event, and New Years Event, the Main Menu gets redesigned with a unique theme, with new soundtracks as well
  • The soundtrack that plays in the Main Menu during the Christmas Event is composed by J.J. Ipsen, the composer for the Planet Zoo and Planet Coaster soundtracks.
• In Update 0.10.1, the neighborhood icon was removed and changed to the neighborhood tab. The neighborhood tab is located between the play and the store tab.
• If you don't own a neighborhood, there will be a red exclamation mark to the top right of the neighborhood tab
• Previously, next to the Options icon, players could access the Help Center. Now, to access it you must go to the Options menu and scroll to the bottom.
