Gardening is one of the ten skills in Welcome to Bloxburg. It was fully implemented in Version 0.7.6 This skill allows players to take care of their gardens. Players can water, sell, fertilize, and store various items in their gardens. Currently, players can only grow plants and decorations.

When planting the item in the pot, players will automatically water the plant. Players may be asked to re-water their plant when it starts to wither if a player fails to do so on time, the plant will begin to wither and eventually die. Once they plant the item, it will take some time to grow. Players can speed up the process by spending a various amount of Blockbux, and the cost will vary depending on the current state of the plant. Over time, the plant will have fully grown. Players can sell or store their plants. It will vary on what plants can be stored and where they can be stored.

As of Version 0.12.7 , the selling price for plants will decrease as a player has more plants on their plot. For example, if only 37 Lemon Trees are planted, it will give $225 (harvest and then sell), but if 47 Lemon Trees are planted, it will only give $194 (harvest and then sell). Also, the number of plants allowed on a plot is limited to 800 plants. If a player wishes to load in a plot with an excess amount of plants, they will have to delete an certain amount of plants.

Plants

Plants are often used as decoration in homes. A player can also sell a plant they have planted for a profit. This allows a player to make a tree farm. Tree farms are another way to earn money besides jobs.

All prices listed come from only one plant being on a plot. As of Version 0.8.5a , prices will decrease as more plants are placed on a plot.

Sprinklers

Plants left in the ground for a long time will naturally wither. To prevent this, the player must water it either manually with a watering can or through sprinklers.

Tips and Tricks

• Planting more expensive plants will help the player level up faster.
• Players gain XP for their Gardening Skill level only when the plant becomes fully mature (Experience is not gained while planting or harvesting).

Trivia

• Plants will grow as long as the player is in the game. They can now grow when an player is not in-game but it's very slow.
• The skill was implemented to the game in v0.7.6 (5/27/2019).
  • The skill was in the game since the game's release in 2016. However, there was no way to increase your level in the skill at the time, similar to the way that the Programming and Crafting skills are today.
• Similar to Cooking, different plants can be unlocked progressively.
• Some plants that grow fruits/vegetables such as lemons, pears, oranges, and apples can be consumed by the player or stored in the fridge.
  • Most fruits/vegetables can be found in the "Quick Meals" section of the fridge, but lemons can only be obtained by planting a Lemon Tree or using the Decorative Lemon Bowl.
