Counters

Counters are flat-topped structures used for serving food and drinks. They can be purchased from Build Mode. Counters are used for cooking food or placing things on them.

As of Version 0.8.6, counters can now be opened by players. Also added in Version 0.8.6, players can now place dishes that were washed using a sink or dishwasher into a counter. Players will get the "Doing Chores" status effect if they do this.

• The game description for Elegant Counter contains a typographical error, as it displays "prestine" instead of "pristine".

Trivia

• Food can be placed on Counters.
• Certain meals/foods require a counter to be cooked as of the update Version 0.6.2. This means a player will need an empty counter in order to proceed with cooking (One that's not too cluttered with decoration and/or furniture.)
• End counters still function as regular counters. Which means players can still place sinks in them.
• Counters placed next to each other at a distance can create a connection using the same color and material that the counter currently uses. This also applies if a washer/dryer or a kitchen appliance is placed next to it.
