The Backpack is a feature that was added to the game in Version 0.12.0. It allows the player to equip many different items from 7 different categories: Seasonal, Emotes, Props, Tools, Family, Fun, and Careers. The player can favorite or unfavorite an item by double clicking on the item that they want to favorite. The player can add 6 items to their hotbar at the bottom of the screen. To do this, the player can drag the item they want from their backpack into one of the 6 slots on the hotbar. To unlock an item, the player must first buy and place the item in Build Mode. In some cases, an item can be unlocked by purchasing it from a citizen in the map.
The Backpack can be accessed by clicking the person icon in the bottom right menu, and clicking the backpack icon.
