Did you mean: House, House Permissions, or Household?
In Welcome to Bloxburg, players must pay house bills every in-game week. The house bills can be paid at the mailbox or in the house menu.
The bills are charged based on your house value. For regular members, this value is 0.6% (house value × 0.006) of the total house value. House bills are 0.3% (house value × 0.003) of the house value for premium members.
Bills can be further reduced by placing a solar panel on the plot. Solar panels will reduce bills by 20%, up to a maximum of $500, $1000, or $2000 per panel depending on whether the player has placed an economic, intermediate, or advanced solar panel.
If the player does not pay their bills after a short period of time, their water and electricity will be turned off. Their water and electricity services will not be restored until they pay their bills. This means appliances, lights, and plumbing will cease to function.
Trivia
- Turning off all electrical appliances in your home will not affect bills. Only the value of the home and solar panels will.
- The player will receive new house bills every week in-game, or 2 hours and 48 minutes in real time.
- Bills can be automatically paid. To enable this, go to your options and toggle "Automatically Pay Bills".
- Unpaid bills will increase in price if further value is added to your home.
- Not paying the bills will not drain a pool.
- If the player continues to use an item dependent on electricity when it is turned off, they will continue to use the item despite the lack of power until they choose to stop using it.
- Before Update 0.11.6 the Premium Gamepass was the only way to reduce the bills without deleting existing items.
- In Update 0.11.6 Solar Panels were introduced, giving all players a way to reduce their bills without deleting existing items and without purchasing the Premium Gamepass.
- The maximum savings of each solar panel are stackable. For example, if a player has two advanced solar panels (which carry a maximum $2000 saving each) they would have a maximum saving of $4000 (as the maximum savings of the two solar panels combine). Although, the maximum reduction of bills remains 20% regardless of the amount of solar panels.
