Emotes are minor actions that players can perform, such as laughing and dancing. The emotes menu is accessed by clicking the player, and then choosing "Emotes...". Some emotes can change the player's mood by decreasing Energy and increasing Fun.

In Version 0.8.0, emotes that players have bought and placed in their emote wheel will show up on the Bloxburg Emotes. The emotes that were bought in the in-game catalogue can also be used by typing "/e (emote name)".

Built-in Emotes

The emotes are regular emotes, that were implemented in the game before the release of Roblox's emote wheel.

Trivia

  • Using the typed commands (/e dance, /e dance2, /e dance3, /e point, /e cheer, /e laugh, /e wave) do not use energy/increase fun, only when choosing them from the emotes menu, do they affect the player's mood.
  • When using any of the Dance Emotes, players will have the Status Effect "Just Dance".
    • The name is likely a reference to the Just Dance dancing video game series.
  • Players can glitch through some walls when using the sit emote and then walk into the wall, though this glitch may have been fixed in recent updates.
